Curriculum Vitae de Vitantonio Roma
- Obtiene el título con onores en Ingeniería Civíl mensión Estructuras en el Politecnico de Turín a los 24 años. Título de la tesi de grado ?Atenuaciones de las respuestas sísmicas de estructuras sobre palos?, Prof. De Stefano y Lancellotta, premiada como mejor tesi de Ingeniería Estructural de los años 1998 y 1999 de la asociacion ex-alumnos del Politecnico de Turín.
- Obtiene el Doctorado en Ingeniería Civíl mensión Geotécnica en el Politecnico de Turín y la Georgia Institute of Tecnology de Atlanta (USA) con el Prof. Lancellotta e Rix. Transcurre un año del 2000 al 2001 en la Georgia Tech siguiendo cursos de Soil Mechanics (Prof. Jacob), Optimization en Engineering Design (Prof. Bert). Título de la tesi de Doctorado ?Soil Properties and Site characterization by means of Rayleigh Waves?, Prof. Lancellotta y Rix.
- Comienza su carrera profesional trabajando por un corto periodo como proyectista geotécnico y estructurisa junior en la I.G.Srl (Ingenieria Geotecnica), en Turín en el Estudio Geotécnico Italiano del Prof. Jamiolkowski, y en el estudio del Prof. Bellino.
- A trabajado como proyectista civíl en la Geodata en obras civíles y de infraestructuras.
- A trabajado en la Golder Associates en calidad de consultor geotécnico y de estructuras.
- Actualmente trabaja en una sociedad de Ingeniería en calidad de Project Engineer y experto geotécnico en el sector de infrastructura.
